Maintenance Manager

Position Overview

To further enhance our operations, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the development, modernization, and standardization of our warehouse systems, logistics, equipment, and machinery.

As the Maintenance Manager for Warehouse Logistics and Equipment, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our warehouse operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing technical specifications, managing the implementation process, and maintaining adherence to industry standards. This position requires a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and a deep understanding of the technical requirements of equipment and machinery used in the field.

I. Responsibilities

1. Operation

– Ensure machinery and warehouse equipment always operate stably in the best condition complying with technical design requirements and industrial standards.

– Diagnose and detect early risks that can cause equipment errors, take specific and timely actions to always maintain smooth operation.

– Provide correct and timely troubleshooting solutions in the shortest time to minimize impact on operations.

2. Maintenance

– Develop programs and plan schedules for maintenance, servicing, and replacing periodic wear and tear parts according to regulations to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of equipment and machinery.

3. Monitor – Analyze – Evaluate

– Build a platform that integrates all equipment and machinery in the warehouse, real-time updates of indicators to the smallest components in the equipment → ensure all equipment in the warehouse have online tracking status remotely.

– Analyze and process data collected from equipment, develop evaluation processes and equations based on collected variables.

– Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement, address non-compliance issues, and implement corrective actions.

– Define and enforce technical standards for warehouse operations, equipment, and machinery to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.

– Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to warehouse logistics and equipment.

4. Team Leadership and Collaboration

– Supervise and assign tasks for technician. Providing training, guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure optimal team productivity and growth.

– Set up development objectives & goals to increase equipment effective operation.

– Coordinate with HR, IT, Audit, Operation to build regulations on company equipment on right purpose and effective operation; Implement safety protocols and training programs for equipment operators to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

5. Other jobs if required by CEO & line CTO.

II. Requirements

1.  Education and Experience:

– Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

– Proven experience (5+ years) in warehouse management, logistics, and equipment engineering

– Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing warehouse management systems and optimizing warehouse operations.

2. Technical Knowledge:

– In-depth understanding of warehouse logistics, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.

– Strong knowledge of equipment and machinery used in warehouse operations, such as automated sorters, conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging systems.

– Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to warehouse operations, equipment safety, and regulatory compliance.

3. Skills and Abilities:

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

– Project management expertise to drive initiatives from conception to implementation successfully.

– Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
